30 Nov 2018

Hosted by ICANN’s regional GDD engagement manager, Daniel Fink, the LAC Registry Operations Training day focused on developing and deploying a strategy for dotBrand registries, understanding ICANN’s Registry Agreement and key obligations for operating a registry. Out of the 17 applicants in the LAC region in the 2012 New gTLD round, these were predominantly for dotBrand registries such as .bradesco, .vivo, .ipiranga, .itau, and .avianca. The BRG led a strategy workshop, sharing dotBrand use cases and experiences of those that are already active and providing an opportunity for attendees to engage and discuss the benefits and challenges of their dotBrands and how to build their own strategy.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
